Building a Life of Exploration Underwater
Our mission is to build a network of ocean changemakers with a passion for conservation, exploration and science.
Our network begins with you.
If you’re passionate about the ocean, sign up today to become a community scientist!
Our Why
Gaining any experience in the ocean as a student, volunteer, or intern typically comes with a large bill. We are here to change that. All of our fundraising will go towards reducing the costs of scientific dive training, in-field data collection, and citizen science research. Our aim is to make ocean science as accessible and affordable as possible.
Our Pillars
Ocean Science
By training divers to conduct citizen science surveys, we are improving our understanding of the kelp forests of Catalina Island.
Ocean Conservation
By hosting regular beach & underwater cleanups, we are growing a community of conservationists through action.
Ocean Exploration
By fundraising to bring volunteers into the field, we are providing opportunities for exploration underwater.
Ready for your next ocean adventure?
Join the Bleu World Collaborative
As a member of this network, you have the chance to connect with our partners, join us for in-field data collection, become a community scientist and apply for scholarships to continue your ocean journey.
Our Collaborative is a group of individuals and organizations working in the ocean all around the world. From studying whale sharks in the Maldives to monitoring kelp forests in South Africa to organizing beach cleanups in Indonesia, you’ll find a wide variety of backgrounds to connect with and causes to work for.
As our climate changes and our ocean warms, ecosystems are shifting all around the world. We are already seeing evidence of this as population sizes fluctuate, invasive species migrate to new areas, and storm surges increase in power and frequency. If we hope to preserve the underwater world, we must act quickly and work together.
